The Look Good Feel Better Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, has an exciting paid opportunity for college students for the 2023 Spring/Summer/Winter semesters.


The Look Good Feel Better intern will support the following functional areas program operations, customer service, SalesForce database administration, marketing and special projects, finance, and fundraising.


A requirement of this position is you must be currently enrolled in college level courses or a degree-seeking program throughout the duration of the internship.

Requirements:

Responsibilities:

Program Operations, Customer Service, and SalesForce Database Administration (50%)

  • Managing customer service requests through email and support tickets
  • Responding promptly and carefully to volunteer/other constituent questions, and redirecting requests and seeking supervisor guidance as appropriate
  • Updating training materials and system documentation
  • Providing reports to hospital partners by consolidating registration records on Excel
  • Preparing and scheduling bimonthly email invitations for upcoming workshops
  • Ordering materials for Look Good Feel Better Virtual Workshop participants
  • Keeping track of LGFB Live! Virtual Workshop Attendance via Zoom
  • Other database and program support as requested
  • Other general administrative support

Marketing and Special Projects (40%)

  • Gathering, drafting and scheduling content for social media
  • Responding to social media comments and direct messages
  • Contributing design help using Canva
  • Researching for various Foundation projects
  • Contributing newsletter content suggestions and articles
  • Compiling materials for special events

Finance and Fundraising (10%)

  • Assist Foundation staff in routine operations
  • Processing donations, donation data entry, and acknowledgements
  • Assisting with invoice processing
  • General administrative support for budget and fundraising activities/events

Qualifications:

  • Ability to work 15 hours a week and available between the hours of 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM (EST) Monday through Friday. With communication, start and end days of internship are flexible
  • Enrolled in a degree-seeking program focused on marketing, communications, or public relations preferred
  • Proficient with MS Office products, especially Excel, and adept at quickly learning new technology
  • Working knowledge of Canva
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and writing skills
  • Able to work independently
  • Salesforce or CRM database experience a plus
  • Social media design a plus
  • Relevant work or volunteer experience a plus
  • Spanish language skills a plus
