The Legal Intern supports the Legal Department in various support functions. The Legal Intern will conduct legal research, draft correspondence, review relevant documents, and provide recommendations and analysis to the supervising attorney. The role will provide opportunity to gain experience in healthcare law and healthcare revenue cycle management.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING
Required qualifications:
1. Currently enrolled at an ABA Accredited Law School (LLM) or is a graduate of an ABA Accredited Law School (LLM)
2. Demonstrated interest in area being applied for either by course work or prior experience.
Preferred qualifications:
1. Adept at doing legal research on the Internet, WestLaw or LexisNexis
2. Adept at using Microsoft office including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
3. Typing proficiency at 45 wpm
4. Excellent written and communication skills
5. Ability to work simultaneously on multiple projects with various stakeholders

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $23.83 to $32.17. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
