EAM Specialist II

The Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) Specialist II is responsible for supporting Niagara Bottling plants and corporate teams through strategic planning, maintenance, total cost of ownership and analysis of company assets enterprise-wide. An in depth knowledge of inventory, procurement, work orders, and warranty are required. This position also includes capital project management. This is a hands-on role which requires dexterity and mechanical aptitude.

Essential Functions

Core Strengths

  • Capture the preventive maintenance procedures and schedules for all assets in Oracle.
  • Overseeing work order management (handled by the warranty specialist), contractor services documentation, breakdown recording and PM completion. Assist in conducting regular audits with reports to relevant managers.
  • Strategic Planning: Identify, research and schedule project deliverables
  • Project Implementation: maintain schedule adherence, project execution and recovery
  • Analyze key data metrics throughout the project and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Collaborate with peers to ensure project success (brainstorming, simulation, training)
  • Develop a working knowledge of repair and maintenance activities
  • Develop a working proficiency of Oracle responsibilities
  • Create Standard Operating Procedure documents to normalize procedures
  • Maintain SME status of EAM projects and facilitate training of super-users

Oracle Inventory/Procurement

  • Mastery of Oracle inventory transactions including:
    • Entering inventory items into the parts catalog
    • Updating/revising inventory catalog items
    • Creating/performing cycle counts
    • Inventory transfers
  • Mastery of Oracle procurement processes including:
    • Requisition/PO Creation
    • PO approval
    • Receiving
    • PO and receipt correction
    • Usage of expense categories and account codes for accurate accounting practices
  • Knowledge of Oracle work order process including:
    • Express work orders (PM and repair)
    • Work order KPI
  • Knowledge of Oracle Warranty process including:
    • Credited parts and reclamation process
    • Warranty KPI
  • List if any travel is required using percentage of time:
    • 25% - on average travels 1 week out of the month

Qualifications

  • Minimum Qualifications:
    • 2 Years - Experience in Field or similar manufacturing environment
    • 2 Years - Experience in Position
    • 0 Years - Experience managing people/projects

    • 4 Years- Experience in Field or similar manufacturing environment

Competencies

Proficiency in, but not limited to:

  • Strong analytical and strategic planning skills including statistics (regression modeling)
  • Problem Solving - Root cause analysis, 5 Whys, cause and effect
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to work independently, with little direction.
  • Demonstrates effective oral and written communication
  • Detail-Oriented with the ability to work at a fast pace
  • Must be able to work as a team player towards team company objectives and initiatives

Education

  • Minimum Required:
    • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering and other related fields or equivalent experience
  • Preferred:
    • Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field

Certification/License:

  • Required: N/A
  • Preferred: Lean Six Sigma green belt or higher, EIT Certification

Foreign Language

  • Required: None Required

Typical Compensation Range

Pay Rate Type: Salary

$77,796.00 - $112,805.00 / Yearly
