Purpose of Role

Provide day to day support of movement of goods into, within, and out of YCA managed warehouse.

Key Accountabilities Include

* Ensure safe operations of material handling equipment
* Ensure timely order fulfillment and delivery receipts
* Ensure a clean and organized work environment

Primary Responsibilities Include

* Follow standard operating procedures and safety regulations
* Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to management
* Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment

* Process Improvement: Use a systematic approach to close process or system performance gaps through
streamlining and cycle time reduction
* Supply Chain Basics and Planning: Determine a course of action to achieve supply chain goals, including
planning, sourcing, making, delivering; understand and be able to work with demand network- customer profile; seasonality etc.
* Warehouse Management: Control the movement and storage of materials within a warehouse

Qualifications
Ideal

* Ability to lift heavy equipment and perform manual labor

Preferred

* Knowledge of inventory management systems
* Experience with operating material handler equipment
* Basic computer skills

Compensation

  • Up to $20.00 per hour
