Join Our Team as a Part-time Yoga Instructor!

Company: Mental Health Clinic

Location: Camp Pendleton, CA

Schedule: Monday through Friday between 0600-1800. HCW shall be on duty for 20 hours each week. Services not required on federal holidays. Specific schedule set by government supervisor. HCW will not exceed 40 hours per 2-week period.

Minimum Qualifications:

Minimum one-year full-time experience within the last three years as a Registered Yoga Teacher recognized by Yoga Alliance.
• At least 200 documented hours in formal Yoga training.

Core Duties:

• Offer Yoga therapy to aid patients' therapy for injuries and stress related to military training and combat.
• Confer with patients about medical histories and stress/pain issues.
• Assess soft tissue condition, joint quality, muscle strength, and range of motion.
• Develop patient treatment plans incorporating Yoga techniques.
• Promote the use of Yoga Therapy for fitness and overall wellness.
• Maintain accurate treatment records and health attendance records.
• Provide proper instruction in Yoga mat work and relaxation techniques.
• Independently monitor class participants to ensure proper technique and equipment use.
• Follow safety practices and ensure a safe environment for therapy.
