Department: Family Intervention Services
Position Title: Accounting Clerk
Supervisor: Contract Analyst
FLSA Status: Non-exempt
Estimated hourly rate from $19 .00 to $22.00

and their families."
A. ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Experience with Shelby or other computer accounting software and/or spreadsheet
applications, including Microsoft Excel.
2. 2-year degree in accounting or equivalent work experience.
3. Valid Hawaii Driver's license and valid no-fault insurance.


B. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Document and code all A/P with another unrelated individual as required by TSA policy.
Data entry of A/P is made in Shelby.
2. Analyze A/P and bill customers accordingly.
3. Assist in preparing deposit slips and making deposit
4. Input cash receipts
5. File postings, journals and original documents.
6. Assures all reports to contracting agencies are completed and sent on a timely basis.
7. Maintain and update of new, renewal and/or amendments to government contracts.
8. Ensures current State Tax clearances and Certificate of Insurances are on file.
9. Disburse and replenish of petty cash.
10. Assist in purchase order and check request processing (includes making sure all necessary
backups are attached prior to obtaining approval).
11. Attend all staff meetings, trainings, conference and workshops as requested or scheduled.
12. Travel off-island as necessary.
13. Other related task as assigned by the Fiscal Manager and FIS Administration.

OTHER FUNCTIONS:
Performs other duties as assigned.
